The EloVa program will continue until all controllers and/or ports have been calibrated Press the Esc key on the keyboard to terminate or skip calibration for any monitor, or you can also allow the program to time out (as indicated by the progress bar).

When EloVa runs for the first time, it will attempt to calibrate all controllers and/or serial ports that were installed. If the cursor does not appear at the position touched, click the blue curved arrow and the calibration program will run again. If the cursor appears at the position touched, click the green arrow to accept and exit out of the calibration program. You will then be asked to touch various points on the screen to verify that the cursor appears at the position touched.6) When you run EloVA using one of the above options, touch each of the three targets as they appear on the screen.

The Elo Touchscreen Control panel will appear. 4) Double-click the Elo icon on the system tray.3) Through the Elo Touchscreen Control Panel application in the Properties tab for the individual monitor and clicking the "Align"/"Re-Align" button.2) Through the Elo Touchscreen Control Panel application in the General tab by clicking the "Align" button.1) During driver installation a check box can be selected to run the alignment program automatically after setup completes. The video alignment (calibration) program can be launched through the following scenarios: Once calibrated, the touch screen will be ready to use automatically each time the system is started. Video Alignment (calibration) ensures that the mouse cursor appears at the position of touch.Įlo uses a three-point calibration sequence that accepts touch screens with any orientation of the X or Y-axis, whether it’s in landscape or portrait mode. The simplest thing would be for Wyse to include the Elo driver in their build.Video Alignment (Calibration) – ST older (<6.0) drivers Installing the regular XP driver rather than including the XPe component in the project did work but was not very reliable as it was not creating all the necessary dependencies. I have experience with XP Embedded and Elo touch monitors.

Installing the regular driver (not the one from the Embedded OS) if possible is indeed a last resort solution. If you had the Elo touch driver installed, then you'd have a calibration routine that would re-arrange the data from the touch screen so that the cursor on the screen moves around correctly i.e. Now, the touch screen in your monitor is not necessarily made/positioned to follow the USB HID standard. So X gets bigger as you move away to the right, Y gets bigger as you move down. The problem is that USB HID supposes that the origin of the coordinates X=0 and Y=0 (in a x,y plane of reference) is on the top left hand corner. In the case of the 1515-7CWA, I suspect the Wyse thinclient is seeing this as a USB mouse device. The thing with thin clients is that they'll handle well hardware for which a driver was included in the OS/Build that was installed in factory.
